Community Consultations on Barren-ground Caribou, Grizzly Bear, and Little Brown Myotis

Next week, community consultations start on proposed listings of Ekwǫ̀ (barren-ground caribou), Sahcho (grizzly bear) and Dlı̨̀ą k'et'aa (Little brown myotis, a type of bat) as species at risk in the NWT.  The WRRB and the Tłįchǫ Government will be travelling to Tłįchǫ communities to discuss these three species, beginning with Wekweètì on October 25 and 26, 5 -9 pm at the Youth Centre.   The public is invited to comment on the potential addition of these three species to the Northwest Territories (NWT) List of Species at Risk.  Masi cho for your input.  Check the poster for details and for when consultation meetings are scheduled for your community.
