WRRB celebrates Earth Week

As an organization responsible for managing wildlife and wildlife habitat (forests, plants, and protected areas) in Wek’èezhìı, the WRRB is proud to recognize Earth Week (April 21 to 28). Earth Week focuses on environmental issues like climate change, pollution, and habitat destruction. As a wildlife co-management authority established by the Tłı̨chǫ Agreement, the WRRB regularly collaborates with the Tłı̨chǫ Government, the Government of Canada, and the Government of the Northwest Territories in protecting and conserving the environment.

We encourage residents to take part in planned activities involving Earth Week over the next week, including by Ecology North who have a full schedule of workshops, panels, a community clean-up, and other public events.

When we all work together, we can ensure that Wek’èezhìı and our planet are managed in a way that benefits all residents.
