This DRAFT report describes the methods and results of a calving ground survey of the Bluenose-East barren-ground caribou herd conducted June 3-15, 2025, west of Kugluktuk, Nunavut. It updates abundance estimates of the herd from the calving ground survey results and integrated population models.

This is a letter from the WRRB to TG-GNWT indicating that the Board has determined to undertake a Level 2 review (Motion #1042-16-08-2026) for the Joint Proposal on Management Actions for the Bluenose-East Barren-ground Caribou (Sahtì Ekwǫ̀) Herd 2027-2030. As such, the Board has opened the 2026 Sahtì Ekwǫ̀ Management Proceeding on August 27, 2026.

This is a cover letter and joint management proposal with Appendices A-C submitted to the WRRB from TG and GNWT, entitled "Joint Proposal on Management Actions for the Bluenose-East Barren-ground Caribou (Sahtì Ekwǫ̀) Herd 2027-2030".
