PR (BATH 2019): 016 - WRRB to TG & ENR Re: Supporting Documentation

This is a letter from the WRRB requesting that TG and ENR review the list of supporting documentation and consent to posting on the public registry for the 2019 Kokètì Ekwǫ̀ (Bathurst Caribou) Proceeding by no later than 12:00 p.m. MDT on August 9, 2019.  If no response is received, the Board will consider the list acceptable.  Posting will occur by August 12, 2019.

PR (BATH 2019): 015 - Estimates of Breeding Females & Adult Herd Size and Analyses of Demographics for the Bathurst Herd of Barren-Ground Caribou: 2018 Calving Ground Photographic Survey

This report describes the results of a calving ground photo survey of the Kokètì Ekwǫ̀ (Bathurst Caribou) herd conducted in June of 2018 near Bathurst Inlet in Nunavut (NU). The main objectives were to estimate the numbers of breeding females, adult females, and adults in the herd, to compare with results of previous calving ground surveys of this herd, the last of them in 2015.

This is a letter from the Wek’èezhìı Renewable Resources Board to the Nunavut Wildlife Management Board (NWMB) informing them of the 2019 Bluenose-East Caribou Herd Proceeding, and requesting that the NWMB identify whether further consultation on the transboundary species is required prior to the WRRB making its final determinations and recommendations.
