WRRB 2025-2030 Strategic Plan

This document outlines the Board's priorities related to wildlife, plants, forests, and protected areas within Wek’èezhìı for 2025-2030.  The Strategic Plan includes the Board's goals and proposed activities over these five years as well as the addition of a horizon scan that identifies topics as areas of interest for engagement within the scope of the WRRB mandate.

WRRB Rule for Management Proposals 14 August 2024

The Rule has been developed to guide the Parties to the Tłı̨chǫ Agreement in making proposal submissions on management actions related to the management of wildlife, forests, plants or protected areas.  The Rule outlines the process and timelines for submitting a management proposal, and includes a proposal template.  The Rule also describes the Board’s process for reviewing management proposals and sets out timelines for its determinations or recommendations.

This document outlines Rules for the conduct of proceedings before the Board. A proceeding means a public meeting, consultation, or a written or public hearing in which the Board makes a determination on matters over which it has authority.  The Rules of Procedure help to ensure that the proceedings meet the requirements of fairness and are efficient and focused.

Memorandum of Understanding Regarding Collaborative Efforts for the Management of the Bluenose-East Caribou Herd (MOU) (PDF)

Representatives of the Ɂehdzo Got’ı̨nę Gots’ę́ Nákedı/Sahtú Renewable Resources Board (SRRB) and the WRRB signed a Memorandum of Understanding in October 2015 to coordinate their efforts in the effective management of the Bluenose-East Caribou herd.
