This is the agenda for the WRRB's Pre-Hearing Conference for the 2019 Bluenose-East Caribou Herd Proceeding, scheduled for March 18, 2019 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am MDT.

Following receipt of the responses to Round No.1 and Round No.2 Information Requests, the WRRB is satisfied with the scientific information and Tłı̨chǫ knowledge provided for the 2019 Sahtì Ekwǫ̀ (Bluenose-East caribou) Joint Management Proposal. As such, the WRRB has determined that the technical sessions, tentatively scheduled for March 13-14, 2019, are not required. Any follow-up will be addressed through questioning at the public hearing.

Following receipt of the Minister of ENR’s February 26, 2019 letter, which requests parties on the distribution list to provide written comments on the 2019 Sahtì Ekwǫ̀ (Bluenose-East caribou) Joint Management Proposal by April 5, 2019, the WRRB has decided to revise its proceeding schedule by requesting that ENR provide a compilation of comments received by it by no later than 12:00 p.m. MDT on April 6, 2019.

Anyone interested in providing comments to the WRRB on the management proposal may do so in writing through email or fax by no later than 5:00 p.m. MDT on April 5, 2019.
