New Tłįcho Fish Guide

This handy little guide is one of the by-products of the learning that has been taking place in the Tłįcho Aquatic Ecosystem Monitoring Project.  It has photos and descriptions of the common fish found in the Tłįcho region.  Useful information about the habitat, size and food value of each fish is provided.  The guide features both Tłįcho and English names for the fish species featured in the guide, along with diagrams that label parts of a fish's anatomy in both languages.

The guide’s dedication is fitting to the goals of the Tłįcho Aquatic Ecosystem Monitoring Project.  It is dedicated to an elder, Harry Mantla, “who wanted the stories and old ways to be remembered and used as a tool for living.”
