Suzanne Carrière is a Board member nominated by the Government of the Northwest Territories who brings extensive scientific and public service experience to the WRRB. Following a 27-year career as a biologist with the GNWT, she retired in 2023 with expertise in Species at Risk, biodiversity research, and public engagement. She joined the WRRB to contribute to the co-management process and to support the strong wildlife management work being carried out by communities. Her background in science, conservation, and collaboration strengthens the Board’s commitment to informed and balanced decision-making. Suzanne has been a Board Member since 2012.
