Travis Washie is a Winter Road Operator and Smart Ice Trainer from the Tłı̨chǫ region. He brings years of experience working on the land, including 12 years as a Lead Hand Operator for Site Services at Diavik Diamond Mine. Travis is committed to helping protect wildlife for future generations and supporting organizations that share this goal. Travis has served on the WRRB Board since 2023, contributing his practical knowledge and experience to support wildlife management in Wek’èezhìı.
