1996-2001 caribou harvests by Nunavut communities that may access the Bathurst herd

This documents provides harvest information received from Nunavut Wildlife Management Board on caribou harvest from communities that may harvest the Bathurst caribou herd. However, it is not possible to determine if harvest was taken solely from that herd or if communities with little access to the Bathurst herd have harvested from that herd. 

Environmental Trends Across the Range of the Bathurst Caribou Herd and Timing of the Arrival of Cows on Their Calving Grounds 1996-2009

This report details a compilation of environmental trends across the range of the Bathurst Caribou herd to help examine whether changes now being observed on the caribou's range had a role in the decline and whether they will affect the caribou herd's recovery.

Habitat Indicators for Migratory Tundra Caribou Under a Changing Climate: Winter and Pre-Calving Migration Ranges

This is a report detailing the definition and development of winter range and pre-calving migration habitat indicators for the Bathurst Caribou herd.  Together with the companion paper that reports results of calving grounds and summer range habitat indicators, managers will be able to interpret and assess the overall effects and implied impacts of climate change.
