Surprise! Randi is Back!

If you have been keeping up with the WRRB’s staff, you know that Laura Meinert went on maternity leave in May of 2020, and Randi Jennings joined our team for a year. We were sad to say goodbye to Randi, but excited to have Laura back. This May, Laura went on maternity leave again, and we were lucky enough to have Randi rejoin us. She will be with us until May of 2022 covering Laura’s leave, and reprising her previous role as Wildlife Management Biologist. Already Randi has been very busy stepping into Laura’s role, attending virtual meetings, assisting with our May Board meeting, and joining Aimee on the Ekwǫ̀ (Caribou) Surveys in Nunavut. To read more on those surveys, or to catch up on what you missed with Randi, check out the highlighted articles here. We look forward to having Randi with us for another year and wish Laura a wonderful year on maternity leave with her little ones.
